What workout routines are good for me?

Question by Skylar: What workout routines are good for me?
So I really want to slim down on my butt because it is WAY to big (At least it is for me.) and I would like to know of any routines that will keep my thighs, legs, butt, and tummy in check. How often should I work out, and for how long. Anything is better then nothing 🙂 Thanks!

You should do squats and lunges. There’s also an exercise where you get on your hands and knees and kick your leg backwards several times (do it with both legs). Do 30 of each of these exercises and I think you’ll eventually get a small bum. 1. Do ballet/barre type workouts. They workout your entire body and sculpt long, lean bodies like a dancer.

Start with trying out Ballet Beautiful from Mary Helen Bowers (she has two great dvds!) and Ballet Body from Leah Sarago (she has 4 dvds now. Start with the Total Body since it is for beginners and when you get better use the first three which she shows you how to use on her site).

Physique 57 and Pop Physique are also great with programs such as Cardio Barre. Tonique from Sylwia Wiesenberg is great too. So are workouts from Ellen Barret, Karen Voight, anything from Tracey Mallett.

Winsor Pilates and Core Fusion are also worth checking out if you’re interest in pilates, yoga and fusions of them.

Besides this walk everyday and use sparkpeople.com for free to track your calories for weight loss. You will get the results you want if you are patient and keep at it as hard as it can be in the beginning. Good luck.
