summer makeover… toning up? :]?
heey.
so i’m 14, starting highschool in september, and pretty much giving myself a summer makeover to start fresh.
i’m a dancer, so i know i’m not in AWFUL shape, but i’d like to keep in shape, get a bit healthier, tone up, ect…
i know my middle is pretty skinny, but my thighs and butt are… ugh.
I’m 5 ‘7 and 119 pounds.
Honestly, do i need to lose weight, or just tone up? (especially in the *ahem* lower regions)

so i need some exercise and nutrition tips.
and i was thinking about yoga, sun salutations and stuff, not anythign really complicated. would that be good for me?
any opinions, information, or any answer at all would be really helpful.

When I was starting high school two years ago (I’m a junior now)
I told myself I was gonna turn "HOT". Haha, that didn’t happen.
But really, it’s not so much of a big deal.

Just tone up..you don’t need to lose weight! i’m 5"3′ and weigh around the same. Just eat healthier and exercise more. Running is good for the legs =)

um well the links don’t work..
but if you get magazines like seventeen and stuff every single issue has like this exercise plan for ike your legs, stomach, abs, arms and toning and they like show & explain how to do each exercise.
there are also some yoga shows like ‘Namaste Yoga’ that like show you how to do yoga, i think they’re fun to do. this may also be kind of embarrasing, but i was also reading in a magazine that you could research something like ‘how to dance….’ and put in your favorite song there because there’s a lot of proffesional dancers on youtube teaching how to dance songs and you could basicall try to learn how to dance that song. running the treadmill, rollerblading, biking, jumproping, tennis, badmitton, swimming, playing soccer doesn’t hurt either!
