Question by : my gym offers a hot yoga class once a week. Will i become acclimatized to the temperature?
if there is only once a week class? Or do you have to go every day to get used to it? There is another studio which has daily bikram classes but I’d like to try a few for free at my gym first.
I’m interested primarily for flexibility training.

If your primary interest is in flexibility training then any yoga is going to encourage flexibility, just do not over due it, listen to your body, only go as far as feels good to you.
As to hot yoga, I encourage you to try it out and feel for yourself, and from one teacher to another you can have quite a different feeling in class, depending on the poses they put into the class and how long you hold a pose or even the sequence of poses.
I do believe hot yoga to be trendy and probably the biggest reasons for yoga related injuries. I am not sure what to think about Dave’s comment about it being bad for the heart, I would have to see citations to uphold that.
You may never acclimatize to the heat and it may only take you mere moments to get use to the heat, listen to yourself, and make sure that you show up to class fully hydrated and drink plenty of water right after class as well.

Bikrams may very well be a rather different experience then the hot yoga at your gym.

Good luck in your journey.
