I’m 17 and considering doing Bikram Yoga, the problem is I go to the gym and lift every day and was wondering if it’s safe to do both. BTW if I am able to do this how much time should i keep my yoga and working out apart 2 hours? 3? Thank You.
I guess it is if you drink plenty of water. I’m not sure how much Bikram yoga exercises the same muscles you’ll be using in the gym, but you may want to think about that. I do a little yoga or stretching on days that I lift, but I don’t do my whole yoga routine on those days.

Okay, so, I’m 13 and I am really ambitious about my future. I set my goals straight. I wanna live in New York, major in Journalism to get an internship as a Magazine Editor for Vogue, eventually leading to my own magazine company, and I wanna launch a diet system and fashion line (makeup, accessories, shoes, clothes and fragrances included), open a production company and a charity case. I wanna live a healthy lifestyle, with an organic apartment, work out 4-5 times a week, take Zumba classes twice a week, Spinning once a week, jog every day, take stairs instead of elevators, Yoga 3 times a week, and Pilates 2-3 times a week. I am planning on using age-fighting creams and medications and getting a full spa-treatment once a week. (nails, hair, facial, masasche, etc.) I wanna get green contacts and laser hair removal and extensions. I was thinking for the gym I could go to Equinox. I want to be a very knowledgeable person and read a ton. And I wanna have my own advice blog (which I’ve began) and publish a novel which I’ve started before my application to college; Columbia, NYU, Parsons, or FIT . . . any in the city. <3
I’m sorry I’ve rambled; point being, should I quit thinking about the future and give up all significance of hope?
I’m not going to lie, but some of those goals are very specific. I am not saying that can’t be done, but I wouldn’t plan out so much detail of what your life might be. You might find out that living as a journalist is very time consuming. Maybe you will only have time for the gym 3 times per week. Live more spontaneously.
Don’t beat youself up if you don’t do everything as planned, either.
These sound like very 13 year old ambitions. I am not saying they are good or bad. Just fanciful.

I just started P90X and decided to buy my own supplements similar to the ones in the program but the product I bought that I thought was similar to the recovery drink is actually only supposed to be used for anabolic exercises. The name of the product is Six Star Muscle Professional Strength Creatine and I was wondering if you can actually use it after the cardio workouts such as Plyo, Kenpo, Yoga etc. If not, are there any products out there that I can use as a recovery drink after every workout in P90X?
Oh really? I bought I container of bodyfortress super advanced whey protein and I use it for snacks and meal replacements. Can I drink it after EVERY workout though in P90X?
bodyfortress super advanced whey protein blend, it has the protein you need with a bunch of other supplements that are perfect after your workout. Supplementreviews.com gave it an 8.2 and to top that off, a 30 day supply is only 15 bucks at walmart

They all lesson anxiety. Mindfulness, breath awareness, body awareness all help anxiety. Exercises that strengthen core muscles and improve balance can help with sensory integration and improve anxiety caused by a lack of physical awareness. It is not the type of yoga, but what specific types of exercises help most.

heey.
so i’m 14, starting highschool in september, and pretty much giving myself a summer makeover to start fresh.
i’m a dancer, so i know i’m not in AWFUL shape, but i’d like to keep in shape, get a bit healthier, tone up, ect…
i know my middle is pretty skinny, but my thighs and butt are… ugh.
I’m 5 ‘7 and 119 pounds.
Honestly, do i need to lose weight, or just tone up? (especially in the *ahem* lower regions)

any opinions, information, or any answer at all would be really helpful.
