One of the more difficult is the head stand position. It can be expected that the people of today may find being naked amongst others, especially strangers, a violating activity. Women who have been doing yoga for a long time are of course more entitled to continue their yoga practice. These two schools deviated from Patanjali’s belief and instead focused on both the formless type of consciousness and using the physical body to achieve the so-called enlightenment.
